domilya GROUP is looking for an energetic, motivated and career-minded Project Coordinator responsible for coordinating the execution of all construction activities that take place on the work sites, ensuring consistently high standards of workmanship and efficiency all under the Director of Construction Operations mentorship.

  • Direct, organize and control project activities, under the direction of the Director of Construction Operations
  • Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
  • Prepare project organization and communication charts
  • Supervise and coordinate the shop drawing process
  • Coordinate work of sub-trades
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades
  • Liaison with clients and consultants to ensure ongoing project performance
  • First point of contact to identify and resolve project issues
  • Ensure project milestones current and maintained
  • Develop non-traditional renovation process to ensure renovations are current going forward
  • Administer all office services, accounting/project coordination and general administration
  • Prepared project documentation, including purchase/change orders, financial reconciliations and progress claims
  • Create and maintain project status reports to provide updated financial information for client projects
  • Negotiate all office service related contracts
  • Perform project management and technical duties in inspecting construction to insure compliance with codes and specifications
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • Work with Administrator and Director to ensure that deliveries are expedited and coordinated
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
  • Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
  • Create and maintain sub-contractor database to maintain current contact
  • Keep the Director of Construction Operations and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
  • All corporate accounting functions including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable
  • Accountable for all quarterly financial reporting to the bonding company
  • Accountable for all operation of busy office, including accounting, project management, estimating and training
  • Assemble project data to maintain updated project status reports to monitor financial performance
  • Manage and provide direction for office administrative staff
  • Plan and execute corporate meetings, lunches and special events for clients and employees
  • Preparation of purchase orders and compilation of pricing and submission of change order requests for review and approval
  • Design and decoration of renovation projects
  • Use of 3D computer programs for homeowners, builders, commercial companies and special events
  • Plan and implement materials, furnishings and design-building recommendations during construction phase and throughout the project until completion


  • Familiar with all aspects of design from concept programming to contract close out
  • Worked closely with authorities for permits and approvals
  • Experience with restructuring project operations and budgets while supervising small teams on site, in store or through distance communications
  • Residential & Commercial design, Build & Decorating
  • Drafting, details, renderings and proposal writing

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects
  • Knowledge of the building development / redevelopment industry
  • Familiarity with construction methods
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
  • Contract Administration and Project Management skills
  • Document development and controls
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Report development
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Computer Skills: Business Software, Microsoft Professional & Word, Open Office, QuickBooks, Google Drive, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Software related to orders, customer information, vendors available stock, processing orders, lead management, etc.
  • Design Software Applications: Auto CAD, 20/20, Google Sketch Up Pro for 3D Design, Photoshop & Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier. Also knowledgeable in other interactive media
